was a green smoothie with lovely romaine, banana, mango, ginger and lemon. good !
about an hour later i had a nice mono meal of 3 yummy oranges. they’re my crack right now haha
since monday. and i’m feeling awesome. fruit, fruit, fruit ! i am glad i found 80/10/10. so much healthier and easier than all this high fat gourmet raw stuff…
snacking on about 800g of strawberries right now for breakfast. i guess strawberry season is about to be over, they don’t look and taste as great anymore as they did a couple weeks ago. too bad, i loved them for lunch !
went to the farmer’s market this morning. two big heads of lovely romaine lettuce for 2€. i gotta make it a habit to go regularly.
….. where are my detox symptoms ? ;)
i’ve actually been doing pretty good these past days. lots and lots of fruit, some green juices. i usually ate something non-raw in the evening, but just small amounts. i’m okay with that. still feel so much better. lots of bananas, oranges, watermelon, honeydew melon, apples, nectarines, mangos. still reading the 80/10/10 diet. watching a lot of informative videos. it’s good !
allright, i haven’t been posting in a while. blame my guilty conscience. i haven’t been good. food-wise that is. but i am getting back on track. drinking a green juice right now. the first in forever, it seems. so all fingers crossed i am doing better in the future. especially since i know that it works wonders for me… stupid routine and convenience :-/
so lunch, which is gonna be my big meal today, is whole wheat pasta with a nice homemade chunky marinara sauce (with olive oil, garlic, onion, herbs and fresh tomatoes) and some parmesan. so yumm !
my yumm-food yesterday was not sitting well with me. i had the worst tummy cramps. during work. which sucked big time :-(
i was super busy these past days. some good food, some bad food. since i have to work at 6 i am having an early dinner: a salad with avocado dressing and a bunch of falafel balls. it’s very yum !
This is so sad, LGBT senior citizens are being forced back into “the closet” in their last days due to bullying from fellow seniors & caregivers. Worst part is, they are being bullied by healthcare providers. The people who are paid, trusted, & responsible for their care. These employees are verbally abusing, emotionally abusing, mentally abusing, & condemning them. These abusive caregivers are forcing their beliefs on the LGBT elders, telling them things like “If you don’t repent you are going to Hell for your sinful lifestyle, it’s not too late to be saved.” This is so disturbing & heart-wrenching because many years ago these same people who are being mistreated now, suffered for their right to love whom ever they choose to love without being labelled “sick”. Imagine how painful it must be, in your time of retirement to have to undergo the crippling process of hiding who you are. Aren’t these supposed to be their “Golden Years”? In some extremely unfortunate & apolling instances, LGBT seniors even end up dying because they are so afraid of their caregivers. This is a terrifying thought, but it’s true. The LGBT seniors are afraid that if their sexual orientation is discovered they could be the victim of discrimination. So instead, they feel they have no choice but to stay silent & jeopardize their health.
This injustice must come to an end. It sickens me that in a society as developed as ours, we are still losing innocent lives because of something as trivial as sexual orientation.
Let’s take a stand. Let’s make this generation of LGBT elderly, the last generation to endure abuse.

all i can say is: Y U M M ! ! ! just mix almond milk with a handful of frozen strawberries and a little vanilla (the real deal)- done ! really really good !
my first try at almond milk. i let them soak for about 20 hours. put them in the blender with some water and blended them smoothly. then i put about 5 dates in there and some bourbon vanilla. it looks and tastes amazing. now i just have to see if i react to it in a bad way cuz nuts and i are often critical. i tasted a little bit and it seems ok. not perfect, but i’ll live. i think after i went to the dentist’s, i’ll make a strawberry shake !
